A Mother's Strength and Hope
This Mother's Day, we're honored to feature Associate Leslie, who has been away for a while and will be returning soon. Her story reflects resilience, growth, and the deep love that defines motherhood.
"It's been an amazing journey," Leslie shared. "I've been through a lot in my life... These experiences have helped shape who I am today." While her path hasn't always been easy, Leslie remains committed to moving forward. "I've worked hard to accomplish my goals through both difficult and rewarding times... building a stable and more meaningful life."
At the center of that journey is her family. "I'm a proud mother of three sons and blessed with three grandsons, who are my motivation and my pride," she said.
Through her time with us, Leslie has found opportunity and encouragement. "Touch A Heart has played an important role in supporting me, not just as an individual, but as a mother and grandmother," she shared. "Thanks to their love and support, I've been able to focus and rebuild my life, which directly impacts my children and my grandchildren in a positive way." Through this, Leslie has grown in consistency, accountability, and presence for her family.
"Touch A Heart is giving me hope and a sense of direction, " Leslie added. "Knowing that I have their support has allowed me to focus on a better future—not just for myself, but most importantly for my family."
For Leslie, Mother's Day carries a deeper meaning. "Mother's Day isn't about being perfect," she said. "It's about showing up even when it's hard and loving your children unconditionally through every season, including the ones where you're still healing or finding yourself."
She shares this message for other mothers: "Remember, you are not alone. Honor yourself today and every day for not just what you do, but who you are. You are enough, and your journey and story matter."
This Mother's Day, we celebrate Leslie and all mothers and mother figures who continue to show up with strength, love, and hope.
